Fractal Explorations is an original production of Dr. Robert Astalos and Zacheis Planetarium. Produced using only free software available to everyone on the internet, it describes what fractals are, how they are made, where they can be found in nature, and what they have to do with infinity. Filled with original fractal images and sequences, it is a feast for the eyes as well as a workout for the brain. You can see a preview, or watch the whole film, on YouTube! Recommended for middle school and up. 35 minutes. Show description and image courtesy of Dr. Robert Astalos, Zacheis Planetarium.
